We just finished the 2nd season of Stranger Things and we all absolutely loved it. Man what a genius of a series.

I've been enjoying Beyond Stranger Things quite a bit. It's a nice companion to the series.

My wife has been watching Frasier on Neyflix. It has been a very long time since we watched that show. That is a really good show.

So, my friends and I binged Stranger Things and Stranger Things 2 on the weekend before Halloween. This series is amazing! Can’t believe I have to wait almost a year for season 3!

Heh, yeah that is why I am holding off on ST2 for awhile.
And why I will not be watching GoT until it is complete.

I'm catching up on Season 2 of The Expanse, the best Sci-fi show on at the moment.

You should read the books. They are a fun read.

Just finished binging the second season of Stranger Things. It was awesome, but man did it go fast. It's going to be a very long wait for season 3.

Yeah, it's awesome alright. We pretty much took a week to watch it, but we actually also watched several of the first half episodes twice because my daughters and I would watch some and then my wife would find time to watch some, so our daughters and I watched them again with her. Then we got to the point where we were on the same schedule and watched them all together.
On a side note, my daughters and I have been loving The Gifted.

I had my wife start recording The Gifted back when it started, but I haven't had a chance to watch a single episode yet. I am glad that you like it. I really haven't heard that much about it.

It's better than I had expected and a lot better than Inhumans IMO.

Agreed. I quit watching Inhumans all together, while the Gifted has been pretty good.

I watched a couple episodes of Inhumans and that was enough for me. My daughters never even bothered to ask about it again, as they are my superhero show buddies, as well as many other shows.
For sure a dud from Marvel.

As a completist, I'm about to watch the season finale On Demand. I kept wondering if it would get better. It didn't.

So you have to pay to watch the season finale of Inhumans? That's just wrong.

We typically never watch the first season of anything but we've dvr'd Gifted. Our usual route is we wait until a second season is confirmed and then we take the summer to catch up so we start season 2 on time.

Oh. When you said On Demand, it sounded like it was like paying for a movie on demand.

Inhumans is done?
I thought it got way better after the second episode. Karnak is one of my favorite characters on TV right now. They introduce some new characters that are good as well.
I really thought it has gained some steam.
The Gifted is top notch. I am not sure I could survive if Fox pulls a Fox and pulls and the plug.
Watch The Gifted!
What I love about it is that it is set in the Fox X-Men universe but feels like it could fit in the current MCU. Really well done with multiple characters getting solid development.

I agree Tornado with regards to Karnak. He was the only character on the show I liked. I believe the actor was on Lost also, and I really liked him on that as well.
People should check out The Gifted.

I'm almost done with Inhumans. I like the premise, and there is some story in there that is interesting, but it deserves a lot of the criticism. I think the IMAX debut was a really bad move. The first two episodes just don't have that much going for them that would justify an IMAX screening. I agree that Karnak is the best character, but I don't think that is a high honor. I think the director(s) are largely to blame for the characters (or the casting). Almost all the performances just don't work for me, including Karnak. It all feels like cancelled mid season prime time drama from years ago. Gorgon is a walking cliche. I don't want Medusa to talk. I don't want Crystal to act. Karnak has the most interesting character arc, but everything he does feels soulless. I think the acting that works the best for me is actually Black Bolt, but that might be because of the complete lack of dialogue. I guess Maximus isn't too bad, but I just don't like him. Some of it might be that I don't buy his rise to power at all. The least powerful guy leads a hostile takeover? Right. And the network big budget fancy polished look really rubs me the wrong way.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it. I will finish the season, and I will have high hopes that (if a second season happens) that it will fix a lot of the missteps in future episodes.
I'm a couple episodes into iZombie. I love what I've seen so far. I think the best one line summary is Psych meets Warm Bodies. It has some dark comedy, and it has some really good promise. I hope it keeps working for me through the seasons on Netflix.

My daughters and I love iZombie. We've watched all episodes a couple times, once during the seasons as they came on and again on Netflix.

Well I somehow ended up with a bulging disc in my back this week and Dr. ordered me on on what amounts to bed rest...only good side is that I managed to get 4 episodes of Stranger Things Season 2 in. It's "too scary" for my wife and too adult for my son so it's been tough to find time to get them in. Can't wait for the rest.

Japes,
I feel for you buddy--I've got the same thing down at the L5 junction. My sister told me that something like 60% of all Americans have bad backs. It sure slows you down. Although I generally don't like drugs, I had one give me anti-inflamminants, which fixed me right up with only two shots (one of each side).
I highly prescribe some episodes of Legends of Tomorrow, who get funnier and funnier as they continue to travel in time!
