My LO has been sick with a cold and ear infection for a week and i feel like im losing It. He’s crying all day nonstop and my husband is gone so i dont get a break at all. I’ve just been crying with him depressed. Idk what to do especially because he almost never cries and is very independent so this is very different

Are you still getting out and about? Nothing worse than being stuck at home and poorly. Also, don't be scared to give meds to help alleviate the pain

no I’ve been staying in because i don’t want to risk getting anyone else sick. I’ve been giving him the prescribed antibiotics for his ear infection and Tylenol here and there but he still doesn’t stop crying. He’s so fussy and clingy literally screaming, he has NEVER done this before. He barely makes any noise or wants to be around us for that matter lol

Get out of the house. Go for walks, go to the mall doesn't matter, but being cooped doesn't help your sanity or baby's!

We’ve going through it over here also, my baby has been sick for a week and now I’m starting get a sore throat from her �� we still go out on walks and to the park so I can let her run around! Don’t be afraid to use Ms Rachel too if you need a little break! It’s rough but hoping they will get better soon

have you gone back to the doctor to have his ears checked again? This was my son about a month ago! We did a week of an antibiotic and he was still acting so upset and not like himself. I took him back to the doctor and they said his ears actually looked worse, apparently the anti antibiotic wasn’t working. It may be worth a try!

i just got an appointment today, his pediatrician is always booked for months ! I hate It

yes agree with this! We were in amoxicillin for 4 days and spiked a high fever and went to the doc and it wasn’t better so got Augmentin and seems to be working!

In the same boat except LO has a chest infection and now I’m also coughing up a storm. She can barely sleep without me rocking her and the second I put her in the crib she screams again. I’m soooo exhausted and feel like an absolute zombie version of myself. We will get through this �� feels good to know there are others going through it too even though it’s tough as hell.

My baby has been sick all week too.
I've been using saline nose drops, steam showers every night, a humidifier, lots of warm soup foods and lots of laughter...
My girl turned a corner today and is doing well. I hope your little one gets well soon too.

ear infections are hard. mine is on his 5 one i believe. Was just put on meds before Halloween. had him checked November 9th still has it, in his one ear. So new meds....But im pretty sure he still has. Just waiting 3 more days before i take him back again. Thankfully mine doesn't cry. He just doesn't sleep.
